The union that represents Northwest Airlines Corp. flight attendants said it tentatively agreed to deep wage cuts and work rule changes on Monday, the same day the airline had bankruptcy court clearance to impose a new contract that had drawn strike threats, the Associated Press reports.
The union didn’t release details of the agreement, which is subject to a vote by union members.
