Teledyne Inks Big Air Force Deal

Teledyne Technologies Inc. said Tuesday that it has signed a $370 million contract to provide support, parts and electronic assemblies for the F-15 fighter, B-1 bomber and the C-130 cargo aircraft among others.


Teledyne, based in Los Angeles, signed the contract with the Air Force Material Command. It makes electronics, instruments and communication products, as well as on-site gas and power generators used in the United Kingdom and North America.


Shares in Teledyne were down 71 cents to $43.55 in early trading Tuesday.
