Univision Radio said Wednesday that its Spanish-language radio stations KLVE and KSCA are No. 1 and No. 2 in the Los Angeles radio market, according to the Summer 2006 Arbitron book.

KLVE (K-Love 107.5 FM), the Los Angeles-based media company’s Spanish adult contemporary station in L.A., nabbed the top spot with a 5.0 share. KSCA (La Nueva 101.9 FM), the regional Mexican format station, was second with a 4.9 share.

This marks the first time since 2001 ratings book that KLVE and KSCA have occupied the top two rankings in the LA radio market.

In total, either KLVE or KSCA hold the top position in three out of the four segments between 6 a.m. and midnight.
