Ducommun Inc.’s new subsidiary in eastern New York will begin manufacturing parts in a new facility next week, the company said.

Ducommun, a Carson maker of aerospace components, last year acquired DynaBil Industries Inc. in Coxackie, south of Albany, for $46.5 million. DynaBil had already broken ground on the $6 million facility, which Ducommun continued. Ducommun has 2,100 employees around the world, including 225 at the New York facilities, now known as Ducommun AeroStructures Inc.

Ducommun, which is scheduled to report earnings Monday, makes parts for Boeing’s 787 “Dreamliner” airplane and Sikorsky Aircraft Co.’s Black Hawk military helicopters. DynaBil does similar work.
