Business Group Urges Extending Bush Cuts
Tuesday, July 17, 2012The Business Roundtable has called on the White House and Congress to move before the November elections to extend all expiring Bush-era tax cuts through the end of next year. The Wall Street Journal reports that the group, which includes the chief executives of Xerox Corp., American Express Co. and Wal-Mart Stores Inc., warned in a letter that economic uncertainty could lead to a "dangerous crisis."
