Report: NSA and British Intelligence Hacked Dutch SIM-Card Provider

    Dutch digital-security firm Gemalto NV is investigating a report that U.S. and British intelligence agencies hacked into the company, which is one of the world’s biggest cellphone SIM-card providers, with customers that include Verizon Communications Inc., the Wall Street Journal reports. The Intercept, a news site set up by Glenn Greenwald, the journalist who has been a principal disseminator of classified material from Edward Snowden, broke the story, citing top-secret documents provided by Snowden.
