BUZZ: As chief executive of Tracinda Corp., a private holding company, Kerkorian has kept a steady grip on his roughly 18 percent stake in MGM. A former boxer and fighter pilot, he started working when he was 9 as paperboy to help support family. It has been rumored that Kerkorian, an Armenian-American, is funding feature film about Armenian genocide. A judge last year shut down a request by his ex-wife, Lisa Bonder, who sought to increase her monthly child support from $100,000 to $565,000 on account of her daughter’s equestrian expenses. They were married for 28 days in 1999.
