SAG-Aftra Reaches Agreement on Commercial Contracts

SAG-Aftra, the union that represents more than 160,000 actors, announcers, and broadcast journalists, has reached a tentative agreement for television and radio commercials contracts, according to the Los Angeles Times. Acting president Gabrielle Carteris – who took over after the death last month of Kenn Howard – said the deal would deliver “essential gains” that would support the union’s members and their families as the media’s landscape changes.
