Survey Offers Answers On Compatibility

The time around Valentine’s Day typically is the busy season for those in the relationship business, and especially so for Ava Cadell this year.

That’s because the self-proclaimed sexologist and founder of West Hollywood’s Loveology University is preparing to release results from her Loveology Sexual Compatibility Survey later this month.

Cadell, who’s also a certified sexual therapist, compiled results from thousands of respondents around the world during the fall. According to her, the survey categorizes people into five different personality traits: openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness and neuroticism. The results will say what percentage of people fall into each category, and which categories are compatible.

People can still sign up to take the free survey through her website and find out later what category they’re in.

“We’re all multitasking all the time, but we’re all looking for love and this is going to be a tool to help you not waste time going out with somebody that you’re not compatible with,” she said.

She said it’s not intended just for singles, however.

“Even if you’re in a relationship and you may not be completely compatible, I give you really fun tips and techniques that will help you,” Cadell said. “We can do very simple things to improve our love lives.”

She’ll also be hosting a 10-episode Web series on Buzzfeed called “Modern Sex” beginning in early February in which she teaches couples to try out different things.

“I think every day should be Valentine’s Day,” Cadell said.
