X-MEN: APOCALYPSE – Professor Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) runs a school for gifted youngsters and after having graduated several impressive students over the years now sets out to recruit a new class which can keep the institution’s standards high. At the same time, he fights government interference with his educational methods and wants to be left alone to guide the development of those scholars at his private New York establishment as he sees fit. But when an ancient power reawakes and sets off on a path of destruction, his new recruits soon get schooled in how to save the world.

ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS – Alice Kingsleigh (Mia Wasikowska) impresses in her new profession as a sea captain and easily sees off pirates who threaten her ship. The sexist attitudes surrounding her senior position prove wearying so she jumps at the chance to take a break by returning to a favorite vacation destination. There she finds her old friend the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) in need of her help and she is able to put her smart brain and swashbuckling skills to use to come to his aid.
