Computer Sciences Corp. will move its corporate headquarters from El Segundo to Falls Church, Va., the company announced Wednesday.

The company will consolidate its corporate headquarters with its operational headquarters in Falls Church. The company’s Virginia facility is already home to 11,000 employees and the highest concentration of the company’s 92,000 employees.

CSC, founded in the Los Angeles area in 1959, will retain a presence in El Segundo. Company executives were not immediately available for comment on how many workers will be remaining and how many employees will be affected by the move.

CSC is one of the country’s largest federal government prime contractors. One-third of its revenue generated from federal government contracts.
