True Religion Files Second Extension

True Religion Apparel Inc. said Monday it will request an extension from Nasdaq to file its third and fourth quarter earnings reports in addition to other results.

The Vernon-based manufacturer of luxury denim said in November that it would restate its financial statements for the 2005 and 2006 fiscal years, as well as the first two quarters in 2007, due to accounting errors.

True Religion previously received an extension to March 17 to file the reports but requested another extension because auditors have not yet completed their review. True Religion expects to file the reports on or before April 30.

The company also reaffirmed its 2007 guidance of fourth-quarter sales of $52.4 million and full-year sales of $173 million. Wall Street expected fourth-quarter sales of $52.3 million and annual sales of $173 million.

Shares in True Religion fell 4.3 percent Monday to $17.50.
