True Religion Apparel Inc. on Tuesday said that it had signed an agreement to re-launch a branded line of women’s shoes.

The Vernon designer denim maker said Titan Industries Inc. will make the True Religion Brand Jeans Footwear line, which will sell at retail from $125 to $250. The collection is scheduled to launch next spring with about 30 styles, many reflecting the apparel line’s “hippie bohemian chic.”

Titan, based in Huntington Beach, has footwear deals with Badgley Mischka, Betsey Johnson, Bebe and others.

Financial terms of the licensing deal were undisclosed.

“True Religion Brand Jeans is a designer brand with a specific vision, differentiated design aesthetic, and a very loyal customer,” Titan Chief Executive Joe Ouaknine said in a statement. “In re-launching the women’s collection, we see a multi-faceted opportunity to create fashionable ready-to-wear footwear for the True Religion Brand Jeans customer as well as a broader audience of consumers.”

True Religion shares were down 20 cents, or less than 1 percent, to $22.40 in midday trading on the Nasdaq.
