Post Production House to Close

Pacific Ocean Post, a Santa Monica audio post production company, on Monday confirmed a report that the company is closing effective immediately.

Cathy Tische, vice president and general manager of the company, declined to provide any information other than to confirm the closure.

Pacific Ocean Post’s credits include the feature films “Mr. Peabody & Sherman,” “Lone Survivor,” and “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” as well as video games including “Grand Theft Auto V” and “The Last of Us.”

The Santa Monica company had 15 to 20 employees, according to Deadline Hollywood, which reported the closure Monday.
